Jake and The Neverland Pirates

Jake and the Never Land Pirates is an Annie Award-winning musical and interactive American children’s animated TV run shown on Disney Junior. Jake and the Neverland Pirates is the first Disney Junior original show following the change from Playhouse Disney. This series focuses on a group of young pirates Jake, Izzy, Cubby together with their pet parrot Skully, who spend their everyday routine competing against Captain Hooka nd Mr. Smee for hidden treasures. Jake and his group defeated Captain Hook and Mr. Smee and threw them in the sea. The two villains were chased aways by Hook’s fear opponent. Jake and his crew together with Tick-tock the crocodile won the treasure. Most of the time, they are accompanied by other characters including their alive pirate ship Bucky , and Marina, their Mermaid friend. The first period of the run followed more “good-humored” conflicts, this include Jake and the team getting their basketball back from Captain Hook, or Captain Jake and the crew taking back their stolen skateboard. The second period gave a larger level to the escapade in the show, now having the characters find a lost city of gold, and an antique pirate pyramid. Get to know more of the main series characters:

Jake is an 8 year old leading role of the sequence and leader of the Never Land Pirates. He is Captain Hook’s major pirate competitor. Jake wears a red bandanna but later on covers it with a blue captain’s hat. He constantly wears brown boots and white shirts. He wears blue jeans and later black pants. He had a wooden sword called the Forever Sword.

Izzy is presently the only girl pirate in the main group and acts as second-in-command to Jake. She has a small bag of fairy dust, which was given to her at an unidentified point by the fairies.

Cubby is 5 years old and the youngest of the group. He hold the map of the Neverland. Cubby’s traits is somewhat shy and he is not very confident in himself.

Skully is a small, green parrot who acts like a protector to the team. He is frequently shown wearing a black hankie with white skulls on it. He keeps a lookout for Captain Hook and Mr. Smee.

Captain Hook is Never Land’s local pirate captain and Peter Pan’s opponent. Famous for his brutality to his enemies as well as his own men, Captain Hook has trouble holding on a permanent troop.

Mr. Smee is Captain Hook’s first mate.
