Kung Fu Panda

Kung Fu Panda is a 2008 American computer-animated wuxia comedy movie created by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures. The movie is set in an adaptation of prehistoric China peopled by anthropomorphic talking animals and revolves around a clumsy panda named Po, a kung fu devotee. When an evil kung fu fighter named Tai Lung is foretold to break out from prison, Po is innocently named the “Dragon Warrior”, fated to defeat him.  Michael Lachance, a Dreamwork Animation Executive conceived the film. Kung Fu Panda was initially projected to be a spoof, but director Stevenson decided instead to shoot an action comedy wuxia film that incorporates the hero’s expedition story prototype for the lead character. The computer animation in the movie was more difficult than anything DreamWorks had done before. Kung Fu Panda premiered in the United States on June 6, 2008. The movie established positive reviews upon release. Kung Fu Panda opened in 4,114 theaters, grossing $20.3 million on its opening day and $60.2 million on its opening weekend, resulting in the number one position at the box office. Get to know more of the main characters .

Master Po Ping is the supposed leading role of the Kung Fu Panda contract. He is a fast-talking giant panda who was doubtfully selected as the Dragon Warrior, champion of the Valley of Peace in the first movie.

Master Shifu is an intelligent and swift-moving red panda Kung Fu Master who lives in the Jade Palace as its headmaster, recognized to have taught Po and the Furious Five in Kung Fu, as well as Tai Lung.

Grand Master Oogway was an old Galápagos tortoise identified to have been the preceding senior headmaster of the Jade Palace and the founder of Kung Fu itself.

Master Tigress is a tiger and also the originator of the Furious Five. Tigress angrily resented Po when he was chosen to be the Dragon Warrior instead of her, and was the most vocal of the Five in her disapproval for the panda even while her comrades grew to respect him.

Master Viper is a viper with two small lotus flowers on top of her head. Even though she has a grave birth imperfection for her class, being born with hardly noticeable poisonous fang, she compensates with her strength, twisting nature, beauty, and accuracy.

Master Monkey is a monkey with a broad Chinese pronunciation who is the friendliest and most easy to talk to of the Five. Monkey was the first of the five to be aware of Po’s strength of mind and was at first, the only member of the Furious Five who referred to Po by name.

Master Mantis is a mantis who is the smallest of the Five, but he is clearly the strongest comparative to his size. He resembles the praying mantis from Antz. He can do such feats as throwing Po and unaccompanied holding up a detached rope bridge fraught by most of his comrades and Tai Lung and still have the strength to snap the bridge when needed.

Master Crane is a crane who is the most patient of the Five and one of the most sarcastic. Throughout the battle situations, particularly in unsafe locations where serious falls are possible, Crane will fly around the combat zone, surveying the area as a scout for strategic advantage as well as catching any of his comrades if they do fall.
